For the use of this document:

The “Park” means: Wern Mill Caravan and Camping Park

The “Guest” means: The person (s) whose name (s) and address (s) is detailed in the ‘short stay booking’

The “Mobile Home” means: Caravan, Motorhome, Trailer tent or tent

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These simple rules, and guide to arrival / opening times, are designed to make all guests’ stay at the Park as easy, safe and pleasurable as possible. The person who books the holiday by telephone or Internet will be accepting the booking conditions and is responsible for the holiday party.

Conditions of Bookings, Hire and Site Regulations

Full balance payable on booking.

No bookings will be taken by someone under the age of 18.

The online booking form must be completed in full and the person placing the booking shall be responsible for the booking and observance by the party of these conditions.

Overcrowding is not permitted and the Mobile home shall be used only by those listed on the Booking Form and in accordance with the maximum number for which it was designed.

All visitors to the Park must be booked in via the Park office/reception.

Period of hire is from 2pm on day of arrival to 11 am on day of departure.

At the end of your stay the ‘pitch’ will be checked and must be found satisfactory. Any damage or breakages must be paid for by the lead guest.

Non-arrival: Unless the Park is previously notified, accommodation unclaimed by 8pm on the first day of the booking will be treated as a cancelled booking. The cost of the booking will be non-refundable in this case.

Only those people listed on the booking can occupy the mobile home and use the facilities of the Park. If this legal requirement is not met, your booking will be terminated and you will be asked to leave, with no refund made. If you have any family/friends who wish to visit you while you are staying at the Park, please advise the office/reception as matter of courtesy.

Well behaved dogs only are accepted on the Park. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, are not allowed in any building and owners are responsible for their behaviour. Should a dog be a nuisance or of danger to other guests at any time, the Park reserves the right to insist that the dog owner removes the dog immediately from the site. All dog fouling to be disposed of in the bins provided on site.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. Children must not use the play area or leave the Park at any time without the supervision of an adult.

First aid boxes, local GP information and Park safety guidelines can be found at the office/reception.

WIFI access is free for all guests. A code to access the WIFI will be provided at check in (please note the signal strength may vary and may not be as strong as what you are accustom to).

Force majeure (means circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, technical problems, bad weather and acts of government). The Park accepts no liability and as such we strongly advise that insurance is taken out to cover yourself for this and no refund will be issued by the Park should an occurrence of this nature happen.

The Park makes every effort to maintain all facilities and services but shall not be liable in the event of their non-availability.

To ensure the maximum enjoyment of your stay the guest will, and will ensure that all members of his/her family and party will, at all times; observe all terms and conditions, and behave reasonably and with due consideration for other users of the Park and the Park staff, and in particular without limitation:

  • Not leave any boat or trailer of any size anywhere on the Park (except in a designated area) as to comply with the current Fire and Safety Regulations
  • Not cause any nuisance or upheaval to other guests or staff of the Park
  • Not commit any act of vandalism
  • Not create excessive noise or disturbance, especially after 10.00pm
  • Not deposit litter or refuse except in a proper refuse skip / bin (as provided)
  • Not upset or disrupt any neighbouring occupier
  • Not to carry out any trade or business in the Park
  • Not store goods on the pitch
  • Not have in the Mobile home, any oil or paraffin heater or any free standing gas fire
  • Not store more than two containers of gas in or around the Mobile home
  • Not use any unlawful drugs
  • Not use any other pitch on the Park
  • Adequately supervise any children accompanying or visiting the guest
  • Not use any motor propelled vehicle other than the tow vehicle without consent from the Park
  • Not commit any criminal act at the Park or use the mobile home for the continuance of any criminal activity
  • Not keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon at or within the Park
  • Keep the Mobile home in good repair and decoration and in a neat condition
  • Keep the pitch in a neat condition
  • Provide at all times in the Mobile home a working smoke alarm and either a Fire Blanket or a Fire Extinguisher, or both, all of an approved type/model
  • Ensure that all electrical and gas equipment in or used in connection with the Mobile home comply with all legal requirements and the recommendations of the supplier/manufacturer
  • Ensure all ventilation grills and flues in the Mobile home are kept free from obstruction.
  • The Park reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest if the above listed is not adhered to. No refund on the stay will be given in these circumstances.

The Park accepts no responsibility for any injury to any person or loss or damage to, any Mobile Home, vehicle or property whilst on the site, whether or not the same be caused or contributed to by negligence on the part of the Park.

Whilst we will do our utmost to meet any special requests, i.e. Specific pitches, length of stay, this is never a guarantee and alternative arrangements of the same grade may be provided at the Park’s discretion.

Cancellation or amendments to bookings

Amendments to bookings must be made 30 days prior to arrival date. Failure to amend a booking within this time frame will result in the original booking and payment being processed. All amendments must be made via email and followed up with a phone call to the Park office

Full cost of the holiday/stay is taken at point of booking

If you need to cut short your holiday/break after it has commenced, we regret that we are unable to refund any monies paid.

The owner cannot accept responsibility or liability for any alterations, delay or cancellation or any other loss or damage caused by war, civil strife, terrorist action, industrial disputes, fire, sickness, bad weather, epidemics, pandemics, acts of any government or public authority, changes imposed by re-scheduling of airlines or any other event outside our control
